We adopted Wonka on October 4th, 2005 when he was nearly 8 months old. He was born February 11th, 2005. Miss Nilla came from a local rescue group and joined our family January 6, 2007. Wonka was tiny as a puppy and was dwarfed by his big sister shown in the picture. He sure has out-grown any signs of being a runt!

It's great for pugs because it distributes the weight evenly across their shoulders - instead of on their neck. Wonka and Nilla both wear size large.

The Gourmet Cupcake Shop invited Wonka and Nilla to sample a new offering: Pupcakes! They enjoyed the experience so much that they're hoping someone will hire them to taste test more stuff!

Step 2: slowly breathe in the lovely fragrance (smells like banana nut bread)
Step 3: Mouth feel. Let the pupcake melt in your mouth - savor it... or just gulp it in one bite!
Step 4: Sniff around for more and beg for your sister's pupcake.
Step 5: Aftertaste.

Wonka won 2nd place in his first Canine Freestyle competition!
Way to go, Wonka!
Wonka and his mom entered their first Dog Dancing competition in November of 2008 and brought home a "Qualifying Score" ribbon, a medal for "2nd place Beginner Level" and a soft bed for being "Highest Scoring Small Beginner Dog"
Wonka enjoyed a layered Birthday cake with yogurt drizzle for his very special 4th birthday!

Wonka has now earned his Beginner Title in both our solo routine and a Team routine, plus the first two legs of his Novice title!
Other awards: 2nd place for Novice Division, "Judge's Choice" for Team routine, "Most Entertaining" for Team Routine
